Thanks for the posted photos… I had intended & wanted to attend the Retreat but weather here in the Perkiomen Valley was not good…I expected it was the same “down there”, and didn’t think it was fit to travel in, but apparently not; and I’m glad!!!
I spent the weekend indoors…practiced some… still trying to “get the hang” of the banjo. This old codger is a slow learner… Looks like a GOOD time was enjoyed by ALL!!!! Would like to be able to identify some of thew participants by their names here on the blog. Nice to connect a name with a face!!
Thanks!!

Doug- we did get some sleep, but not a lot. The nightly jamming usually went past 2am, but Friday night they played past 3am. Anyone that makes the next one will not be sorry.
Danny- Good guess!
My face isn’t in any of the pictures posted yet, but I am sitting in the chair in the foreground in “Banjo setup”. The others in the picture are:(l-r) Camillo, Ken, Fr. Keith.
The guy next to Fr. Keith with the “Darth Vader Banjo”
is Doug from Texas.

Photo stream on Flickr looks even better. I see Dick gave everyone a shot of his bagpipes. Sound samples available?
