I got the Tyler Mountain Banjo and the Super-Duper-Colossal from my better half last week. A wonky tuner and 3 broken strings later – I love it!!!!! I have learned quite a bit from your workshops, and it is a real treat to be able to have a banjo and finally play along(or at least try to). I really enjoy all your work, and look forward to the posts on your blog.
I wanted to show you and Dear Old Dad my appreciation, so I whipped up a little banner for the blog. I hope you guys get a kick out of it. Thanks again for everything, and I’ll be thinking about the daily frail until I get home from the office.

Glad to see you got it. My computer pretty much farted when I hit send, so I wasn’t sure if it went through. Thanks for the kind words, Steve. I think it would look great at the top of the page*hint**hint* =)

In case anyone is curious, the picture of Patrick was taken from a photo in the Musician’s retreat flickr group. The one of Dear Old Dad was from a photo posted a while back on this blog, when Patrick first got his camera, I believe(I’m still a newbie here)
