I’m OK

November 17, 2008

The doctor managed to put a tube in my left year. It hurt like hell, but my hearing is already better than it has been for months. The pressure in my ear is finally gone, so maybe tonight I will get my first good nights sleep in weeks.

On the way to Salisbury Dear Old Dad managed to squash my fingers playing with the power window buttons. Almost dislocated three of my knuckles. That actually hurt worse than having the doctor cutting around inside my ear.

Tomorrow we have to run up to Delaware to see Lowell Jacobs about some Somerset Banjo stuff so there will be no workshops.

I’ll be back on Wednesday.

Carlos’ photo made me laugh so much I couldn’t resist doing a quick animation. At last I know someone more impatient than me!

Hope the S1 arrives in time for the UK retreat Carlos. See you soon

Patrick,
I thought I’d send in a couple more long winded, rambling bottleneck lessons for you to post if you wish. I think I have slightly diminished the number of um’s and uh’s but no guarantee.

We are all wishing you good luck tomorrow.

Take Care,
Pat
