We all had a great time at the Henry Reed convention and have promised to return next year. The friendliness of the people was refreshing. Fred and Pat did all the cooking and a great job they did! You would have enjoyed yourselves if you could have attended.

Hey guys! I just wanted to let you know how much I’ve been enjoying the S-5. Which is very much, indeed.

I also wanted to share with you what I’ve been doing with it. For the past 4 or so years my brother and I have been playing as “Draco and the Malfoys”, a band that sings songs about the Harry Potter books. Surprisingly, there’s actually several bands that do this, its called “Wizard Rock”. We’ve been mostly doing rock music, but as the story goes, I had a banjo hanging around, found your site, gave clawhammer a try, got addicted, and scraped up enough for the S-5. We put together an album of harry potter folk/country songs called “the Anthology of Slytherin Folk Music”. We also got our father’s bluegrass band (myspace.com/nosparepartsbluegrass)to play our biggest show this year with us, which was a Harry Potter fan convention in Boston. It was a real surprise for our fans to hear us switch gears like that, but they really seemed to enjoy it. Here’s a clip of that show.

I think you can get a sense of how special it was for us to play in front of all those awesome people with our dad (The guy with the beard and the hat). Thanks for everything you do.
