Google Wave

November 8, 2009

I revived a Google Wave invitation last night!

If you haven’t heard, Google Wave is a newfangled web service that is designed to merge e-mail, instant messaging, wikis, and social networking. You can read more about it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Google_Wave

Here is a short video on how Google Wave works:

The real-time collaborative nature of Google Wave has some intriguing possibilities for folk musicians. It could be  great tool for organizing workshops and sharing song ideas.

Google Wave is still in beta so you have to be invited to use the service. I already sent out a batch of invitations to my friends and I have four invitations left. Drop me a note in the comments if you would like me to send you one.

Now, could somebody send me n invitation to Google Voice?

I’ve already got a Wave account (a friend works at Google). Now if only I could figure out what Wave is actually good for…

Sorry, thefringthing, I have a short list of what your actual name is, but I can’t finally decide. Anyhow, if you have a Google Wave account already, do you have any unused invitations that you can send out? If so, I would really appreciate one so that we can evaluate it for use with our newly formed Aussie Frailers.

Whether or not you can oblige, thank you very much.

    Hi Patrick,

If you have any left, I would appreciate an invite.

Also, I am going to offer a free community workshop through our cities Parks and Rec department for handicap individuals.

I was wondering, from your experience at Camp Adventure, if you have any lesson plans that I can use to start with a new group?

This will also help me prepare for the 2010 summer volunteer work at Camp Adventure.

    Blessing and Peace to everyone.

Patrick – I got the wave invite. THanks! I’ll be waving soon.

Hope the knee injection goes well. I have had other friends who had the same goop injected. They did very well with it.

Any invitations left? I´d like to get one too, please.
