Let It Snow!
November 20, 2009
Father Kieth in the UK writes:
Hello Dear Old Dad.
We don’t get much snow in England these days thanks to global warming.
A couple of years ago Linda had one of those ’special’ birthdays so I
arranged a surprise trip to Finnish Lapland to visit Santa. We arrived
just as they experienced a mini-heatwave. There was big thaw and I
even managed to sink a snowmobile ( the instructor didn’t say “don’t
drive into anything soft!” )
It was great fun but I wish I hadn’t spent a small fortune on Arctic gear.Anyway I was reminiscing over our holiday snaps and being in a
creative mood I put a video together using a few of them. It took a
while to figure out how to play this song in G but I finally worked
out that the bridge part switches to the key of D.Patrick’s latest surgery sounds gruesome! I don’t know he’s managing
to concentrate on work but I can’t wait for the next series of books
and DVD so keep him at it.

You’re not just a beautiful voice, are you, Keith?
This time, beautiful video was deputised for your beautiful voice. Thank you for that, and for the lovely banjo rendition.

Thanks Cedric. No way would I sing this – too slushy by far. I like the tune though.

I think beautiful is a most suitable work, especially on the eve of the holiday season.
