Glad you’re on the mend Patrick. You might wanna add Sea Shanties to the list of song book ideas.

Hi Patrick. Glad that the BAHA is BAHA-ck! I love Hidden Fortress… the dialogue is really funny in places!

40 Celsius is about 104 Fahrenheit.
    (C * 9/5)+ 32 = F
If that’s pre-summer, I don’t want to know what it’s like there when it gets really hot. I’ll take a temperate 20 to 25.

  4. Tim in Korea Says:

You guys sound really good singing Freight Train.

My thanks to Patrick, Dear Ol’ Dad, and everyone who took the time to vote on one of the banners. I think the number of folks who participated and their geographic diversity surprised my students.

The comments were wonderful and in particular I’d like to thank Donald for his detailed feedback. He could probably teach the kids (and me) a thing or two about design. Also, Carlos, the picture you took of your young ukulele students making their picks has made the rounds through our school and several others in my district.

I’ll be announcing the winners in class this week although I suspect they already know as they can count…when they want to.

In a few years my kids will forget their old, mumbling teacher and much of what he taught them. They will remember the contest they did for that “banjo guy” out East long after I’m just a faded picture in the yearbook.

    -Thanks again,
