We decided to share our Smith Island pumpkin spice cake with our neighbors. As I write this, Mom and Dear old Dad are running up and down Potomac street handing out slices of cake. The turkey is in the oven, the birds are singing and it is just a wonderful day.
Patrick, you will have to take a course in the ethics and responsibilities of the photographer.
It is unfair to tease us poor souls who dwell so far away, by showing Miss Trudy and Dear Old Dad with smiles two miles wide, showing off all of those mouth-watering goodies that we can only ogle at and not devour.
No! I know that you will bring lip-smacking smiles to the many Crisfield folk, and that is itself, a delicacy that I can enjoy.
That cake looks quite tasty! I hope you guys had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I myself just finished frying up some turkeys, and helping my folks clean up after eating waaay too much! If you haven’t tried Fried Turkey yet, give it a go, I promise you won’t regret it! Take care and God Bless!
