The first title in a new series of Pik-Ware song books is nearing completion.

Patrick is hard at work on “Songs For Sunday”. We are on track getting it to the printer by the end of December. I am really excited about this project.
We are using the formula that opened the world of music to us so many years ago.

The books will be spiral bound and the songs are tabbed for singing.
A CD featuring Patrick playing and singing the songs is included.
A guitar version of each new book is planned.

I have never seen Patrick so happy, focused and content.
His long struggle with deafness is over.
A new chapter in his life is opening.
We are grateful for your prayers, support and encouragement.

Like the man said – “You ain’t seen nothing yet”!

Peace to all,
Pat Costello (Dear Old Dad)

What we’ve seen so far is remarkable. I can’t wait for the next chapter!

If Patrick is “so happy, focused and content,” then the rest of us can be at least two of those: “happy and content.”

Keep up the good work, Patrick. It is really appreciated.

    Great news indeed!!!

Maybe we can all wish a book for Christmas from our friends/relatives, to be bought and given when it’s finished? I’m going to give it a try!

I love the concept. A songbook with a CD is great, but have you ever thought about a companion DVD with Video? One of the things that I love to do is download the shows from Carterfoldshow.com and then play along with the “band”. You should check out the Cartefoldshow.com site. It is wonderful. For $10 a month, you can download over 60 two hour shows!!, plus you are supporting the Carter Fold historical site and contributing to the preservation of old time music. Two of my favorite old time bands with clawhammer banjo players are “The Tennessee Mafia Jug Band” and the “Roan Mountain Hilltoppers”. You can go to the site and look at a 1 minute sample of each show for free. Then if you want, you can subscribe for $10 a month. Cancel at any time. I have no connection with the site just a happy consumer. Any time that I want to play music with a band, I just download a show and play to my hearts content (on my Somerset model S2, serial number 14). Have a good weekend Patrick, DOD and Trudy. Doug
