Clear Skies

I took a break from Songs For Sunday and walked down to Brik Kiln. It was nice getting back to the docks after being snowed in for most of the week.
John the waterman hollered me over for a chat while he was working on the engine of his boat, The Dream Catcher. It was cold, but I enjoyed sitting on the dock talking about nothing in particular for a little bit. A huge blue heron flew in to see what we were up to and I was so surprised I forgot to take a picture! John has invited me to spend a day on his work boat this summer so I can get some pictures of how crab fishing is done here in Crisfield. I can’t wait!
